Sheet piling can be installed with conventional pile driving equipment, vibratory pile hammers, air and water jets, hand and/or machine trenching. Collins and Company have recently
developed a driving mandrel for firmer soils.
Sheet piling uses include seawalls, bulkheads or retaining walls, dikes, shoring, flood walls,
slide walls, erosion control structures, hazardous soil containment, machinery foundations, and
electric ducts. Collins Company has also developed "Vinyl Gabions" in their "FLOODGARD" system and a unique pipe pile bracket anchor system. They have also developed an "in the wall" pipe pile system to construct heavy duty vinyl sheet pile walls. |
